We are delighted to be offering the finest bread from Holy Grain Sourdough Bakery based in Manchester City Centre.
Holy Grain is a small, independent bakery specialising in naturally-leavened bread. Using only organic ingredients, every loaf is handmade and slowly fermented over a 2 day period for maximum flavour, digestibility and health.
Bread is available to pre-order for in store collection or delivery with a limited stock available in store.
Due to the ordering and baking process unfortunately some of the bread products are only available to collect from store on a Friday and are not available for delivery. If you would like to make a special order one of these items please get in touch.

How do I order?
Head over to the bread page on the store section of the website, select which bread you want, when you would like to collect and checkout as normal.

Do I have to order in advance?
We highly recommend that you order in advance. We will have a very limited stock and a reduced selection in store and cannot guarantee that it will be available when you come into store or by your delivery day.

When do I have to order by?
For collection between Tuesday and Thursday and all deliveries orders must be placed by midnight on the Sunday before.

For collection between Saturday and Monday all orders must be placed by midnight on the Tuesday before.
​
What days can I collect my bread?
We receive bread deliveries on Tuesdays and Fridays but do not worry if you cannot collect on those days we will keep your bread sealed until you can collect.
Collections of bread can be made from 11am until 5:30pm Tuesdays & Fridays and 9am until 5:30pm on all other days.
If you wish to collect later than 5:30pm please contact the store first to see if anybody will be available.

What days can my bread be delivered?
We deliver on Wednesdays and Thursdays depending on your postcode please see the Home Delivery Section for more details.

Please Note: Bread for deliveries must be ordered By Midnight on the Sunday before you want it delivered

Is there a minimum order value for delivery?
Yes. The minimum order value is £10.
​
There is no minimum for store collection.
​
Can I order my bread for delivery before I place the rest of my order?
Yes, we understand that you might not want to place your whole order at the same time as the bread. If this is the case when checking out select store collection. When you place the rest of the order we will know to add your bread on.

Please Note: If you do not add onto your order any orders under £10 will not be delivered and it will be your responsibility to collect from the store.

Will you have any bread available to buy without pre-order?
Yes, we will have some bread available in store, but to start with this will be a very small amount. If bread proves to be a popular addition then we will look to expand the offering.

Can you place regular bread orders without having to order every week?
Yes, we offer a subscription service where you can order bread to be collected / delivered either weekly or fortnightly.
​
You will be charged automatically and your bread with either be delivered or ready to collect in store on the delivery day.
​
Please note we can currently only offer subscription services if you pay via PayPal.
​
You can cancel your subscription at anytime but due to the ordering process to ensure your bread is freshly baked we do ask for 5 days notice to cancel. It is not currently possible to pause your subscription.
